Bio (page 2)
My teenage years were typical of a kid growing up in a small town in the maritimes, with the usual activities in school and organized sports, fishing in summer, hockey in winter, Scouts, Cadets, motorcycles and eventually discovering somewhat of a knack for music and singing. Through the latter part of high school and into college, I was part of a fairly successful musical group, and I loved it. Then, of course, there were the girls. Oh ya! I didn't really date a lot back in those days, but I certainly had my fair share of "crushes" on members of the opposite sex. Looking back on it now, those were great times, and there was certainly a lot of growing up and changes happening with me, but through it all, one thing remained constant. The urge to "dress up" never waned. It was not something I could do very often, especially living at home with my parents and a younger sister, but when the opportunity presented itself, off came the jeans and shirt, and on went the stockings and heels, gradually including a bra stuffed with tissue, a blouse and a skirt, and the occasional experiment with lipstick. Each time was different, yet just as exciting as the first. What was it, and where was it all heading? I still did not know, but it continued to be my "secret hobby" and I always looked forward to the next opportunity to dress up.

When I finished college, I was about to embark on the next phase of my life, and changes were to come fast and frequent. Not only was I becoming a young adult about to move away from home and go out into the world on my own, I was about to discover the answers to a lot of questions I had been asking myself for most of my life up to that point. Answers that sometimes generated more questions, but for the most part, helped me finally define "who I was".
