Who's that Girl?
So, just who is this person when she's not having fun being a girl? Well, in boy-mode, I'm a fifty-something, single (actually divorced), 5 ft 6 in, 143 Lbs, slim but good build and healthy, green-eyed, short light brown haired, non-smoking, non-drinking working professional employed in a high-tech and fast-paced industry. I am originally from a small town in the Canadian Maritimes, but have been living in Montreal now for the past 30 years or so. I consider myself to be free-spirited, intelligent, sensitive, creative, fun-loving, kind of quiet and a little shy but warm and friendly just the same. I love to laugh and have a great sense of humour. My interests are varied. I have a passion for flying small airplanes for recreation. There is just something about being free to move in three dimensions without being tied to the earth. It's the ultimate freedom! I also love driving motorcycles (not in drag though). I like most kinds of music and I love to drum. I love to dance, even though I am not into the bar scene. I am spiritual in the sense that I believe there is more out there than we can see or touch. I also believe we that we have to start taking care of the earth, not just for ourselves, but for future generations. I am fascinated by the history and mythology of Native American cultures, and I also love to immerse myself in the Arthurian legends from time to time. I like to write poetry when the mood hits me, but I find the inspiration hard to come by sometimes. I love to "tinker" with my hands to keep myself busy, and when I need some down-time to just relax, you'll find me walking through the forest feeding chickadees or squirrels out of my hand, or cross-legged on the floor in front of the fireplace with all the lights off, listening to the peaceful sounds of new-age music. I have recently gotten back into music and taken up drumming again (the neighbours are not impressed) and would like to get together with other musicians at some point and see what develops.
