| Here are a few tips for things I have learned over the years. I hope you find them useful. *************************************** False fingernails: Do not use the nail glue that comes with the nails. It is next to impossible to remove the nails intact with that stuff. Use contact cement instead. It works just as well and when the time comes to remove the nails, just soak your fingers in warm soapy water for a few minutes and then just peel the nails off. The residual glue is then easy to remove and the nails can be reused over and over again. Try it! It works! Removing makeup: Do not go through the unnecessary expense of buying fancy high priced brand name makeup remover. I use Aloe Vera cream which I get in 400ml containers at the local Dollar Store. It works just as well if not better than the high priced stuff, cost much less, and even if you use it daily, it will last you a long time. Just apply it liberally all over your face, wait 20 seconds or so, then wipe it off with a soft paper towel. It takes off everything (foundation, mascara, lipstick, eye shadow) you name it, with the added bonus of leaving your skin nice and soft and moisturized. More to come. Back to index |
